Decoding Wagner

Excerpt from the book:
In 2004 the British Foundation for Motoring voted Wagner's single best-known excerpt, the "Ride of the Valkyries," as the number one tune to avoid playing in the car on account of its propensity to cause accidents.

Julius H. Jacobson II, (MD), concludes "The Ride of the Valkyries" as 'There are eight wild and angry maidens on their winged steeds, traveling through a storm, with their weapons flashing in the glitter of lightning, and their eerie laughter mingling with crash of thunder', in his book 'The Classical Music Experience'.

Sometimes I use google translate just to laugh at it.
